Cullalvera´s Cave:

In " Ramales de la Victoria" , in the eastern area of Cantabria:

Cullalvera's cave is a part of a complex of great development, about 12 km, where we can find geological varied and spectacular formations that make us realize of its genesis and evolution, where the action of water and time on the rock have formed an exceptional cave.
Cullalvera is a cavity of big dimensions with a spectacular mouth of entry and surprising accesses that will modify the perception the visitor has about the size of a cave.

Tour of the cave:

The prehistoric remains found in the cave add great value. Cullalvera contains two types of remains, manifestations of cave art and a small site, both of the Palaeolithic. The cave is singular because it has some of the parietal artistic manifestations.
It is placed 20 minutes far from our Inn, in Ramales de la Victoria village, in the region of the Asón. The cavity, which is part of a set of caves with prehistoric remains, is located close to the urban nucleus of Ramales. The environment of Cullalvera's cave is a magic space since its great mouth of entry emerges from a leafy Cantabrian grove of evergreen oaks of great ecological value.
