Sardinero Beach

 In Santander, between Magdalena and Mataleñas:

 First Sardinero Beach:

This beach is located in the city of Santander, and at low tide is joined to the beaches of Second Sardinero and La Concha. It is the northernmost part of this stretch of sand, between Cabo Menor and La Península de la Magdalena.

Second Sardinero Beach:


This beach is located in the city of Santander, and at low tide is joined to the beaches of First Sardinero and Concha. It is in the middle of the long stretch of sand that runs between Cabo Menor and La Península de la Magdalena. It is separated from the First Sardinero beach by the Piquío headland.

Loredo Beach

 Located on the coast of Trasmiera:

 

This beach is located on the Costa de Trasmiera, next to the village of the same name. It is at the easternmost tip of the spit of land that starts at El Puntal. Facing the beach is the largest island of the Cantabrian coastline, the Isla de Santa Marina.

Somo Beach

This beach is located on the Trasmiera Coast:, next to the town of the same name. Together with the beaches of El Puntal and Loredo, it is around 4 km long. Because it joins the open sea, it has strong surf.
